90/100. Bright medium yellow. Flint and honey dominate the nose. Then floral and spicy in the mouth, showing much less fruit today than the Vaillons bottling. This saline, dry, backward wine communicates an impression of brooding power. Finishes slightly warm, with just enough acidity to maintain its shape.
