90-92/100. Pliant, open and expressive, the 2013 Chablis Blanchots is surprisingly accessible at this stage. Orange marmalade, tropical fruit and apricots blossom in a Chablis with terrific mid-palate pliancy and gorgeous overall balance. Sweet floral notes add an attractive upper register. Nicely centered, seamless and pure, the 2013 should drink well pretty much upon release. The Blanchots emerges from two parcels; one at the top of the slope and second towards the bottom of the hill.

89-92/100. (no oak): Bright yellow. Soft aromas of pear, peppermint and jasmine. Boasts an enticing creamy middle, with a distinctly saline quality, but the finish shows good mineral cut and lemony firmness. More authoritative on the back end than the inviting nose would suggest. This is always an early-opening grand cru, notes commercial director Cameron.
