89-91/100. A round, succulent Chablis, the 2013 Les Forets is beautifully textured in the glass. Graphite, petrol, slate and white orchard fruit open up nicely. The 2013 looks to be a fairly approachable Forêts with considerable near and medium term appeal.

88-89/100. Bright yellow. Dry, classic aromas of lemon, chalk and mint. Lemon and menthol flavors are given a slightly tart quality on the back by edgy acidity. This rather austere, serious wine is quite closed today.
