Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2014

90-93/100. (30% oak, none new; from vines in excess of 50 years of age): Pale yelllow-green. Lemon and lime zest, white pepper, mint, crushed herbs and white flowers on the nose, along with an element of powdered stone. Plush, fine-grained and light on its feet, with enticing pear and lemon flavors complicated by a saline quality. Other than a hint of cinnamon on the end, there's little sign of oak here. Cameron believes that Les Preuses has been the most-improved grand cru here in recent years, as it's now the last wine to be bottled.
