Chablis 1er cru Vaucoupin 2015
Source : Antonio Galloni - Vinous - 09/06/2016
88-91/100. (Servin purchased these 49-yearold vines along with the Mont de Milieu just a few years ago; his first vintage was 2012):
Palish yellow. Deeply pitched aromas of menthol, mint, minerals, wild herbs and earth; smells more like a rive gauche than a rive droite wine, with its fruit in the deep background. Then dry and saline on the palate, dominating by earthy, stony minerality. Nicely concentrated if a bit youthfully austere, with its salty finish showing a positive bitterness.
